Question of the Day: Is there anything I can go to get the parole board to review my sister’s case? She has a TPM of March 2025. She has graduated high school and college while locked up and has earned full Performance Incentive Credits. Is there a chance a lawyer could get the parole board to review her case again? Or is it best to just wait until it’s closer to the TPM and get representation then?
Answer: Representation by an attorney is not required for any type of clemency consideration. However, an attorney can help you become even better prepared for the parole board. You’ll have an attorney advocate regularly communicating with officials on your behalf. Earning edits Performance Incentive Credits (PIC points) is important for possibly accelerating the release date. Keep your attorney informed as you earn PIC points. Try to stay motivated to earn more.
The decision whether to employ an attorney is a personal decision of the offender or those acting in his or her behalf. Major Brown Law is ready to help. Call 678-761-0154 or email
